Brief Description

The industrial assembly-type thermocouple is used as a sensor to measure temperature, usually matched with display instruments, recording meter and electronic computer. It can directly measure temperature from 0oC to 800oC of liquid, vapor, gas medium and solid surface during various production processes. In addition, the device has the advantages of simple assembly, convenient replacement, pressure spring type temperature sensing element, good anti-vibration, wide measuring range, high mechanical strength, good pressure durability.

Working principle
 Thermocouple  working principle: two conductors with different components are welded at both  ends to form a loop, measuring temperature directly side is called measurement  side, terminal side is called reference side. When the temperature between  measurement side and reference side has a difference, it will generate heat in  the loop current, then connected to the display instrument, And the instrument  indicates the corresponding temperature value of the thermal electromotive  force generated by the thermocouple. Thermocouple thermoelectric EMF will grow  with the measurement temperature’s growth, The size of the thermal electromotive force is related to the  temperature of both ends. It has nothing to do with the length, diameter of the  thermode.
 Junction box,  protective tube, insulated casing, termals and thermal electodes form a basic  structure of assembly-type thermocouple, with a variety of installation of  fixtures.

Thermal response  time
When the  temperature appear step change, the thermocouple output variation is to the  equivalent of 50% of the change, The time required is called the thermal  response time “T”.

Generally  speaking, it is the static outside pressure which the protection tube can  withstand without being broken in the room temperature. b.For thermocouple of which the length is equal to/less than 1m small, its ambient temperature  insulation resistance value shall not be less than 100MΩ.
