SBW Series Explosion proof, intrinsic safe type Thermocouple(resistance) temp transmitter is temp transmitter unit of DDZ-S series in site. It combines the thermocouple(resistance) with the transmitter as a whole,directly measures the temp of vapor, gas and liquid in a variety of industries from -200~800℃, and converts the temperature signal into thermal resistance and thermocouple output signal proportional as 4~20mADC unified output signal and sent to display, recorder, regulator or computer. The explosion-proof performance of explosion proof, intrinsic safe type thermocouple(resistance) temp transmitter is as per “explosion proof electrical device used in explosive atmosphere”(GB3836) Promulgated by the state. Its thermal electric properties is as per international IEC standard, and it is tested qualified by national instruments explosion-proof safety surveillance.It is ideal temperature sensor analog integrated product in explosive atmosphere. It can be used in dangerous places with combustible gas or steam in a flammable liquid. Intrinsic safe type thermocouple(resistance) temp transmitter shall match with the device context security gate to constitute the explosion protection system. Explosion-proof number is: GYB 93265, 93266, 97336, 97337. As a new generation of temp transmitter, It can be widely used in metallurgy,  petroleum, chemical industry, electrical power, light industry, textile, food, national defense and scientific research department and so on.

 

Working principle

Taking the flame-proof structure, so when mixed explosive gas inside the explosion proof, intrinsic safe type thermocouple(resistance) temp transmitter shell explodes, the shell will not be destroyed. The resulting heat power moves slowly along the enough connection length of tiny cracks in the shell, so instantaneous temperature of gas to the outside shell is not able to light explosive gas outside, that is to say, it won’t result in an explosion. Explosion-proof category of explosion proof type thermocouple(resistance) temp transmitter are dⅡBT4、dⅡBT6,or dⅡCT4、dⅡCT6. Explosion-proof category of intrinsic safe type thermocouple(resistance) temp transmitter are idⅡBT4、idⅡBT4(multiple-twin type).Strictly abiding by the rules, it has reliable explosion-proof performance.

Output: It’s output is 4~20mA DC signal within range and is linearly related to the input signal of thermal resistance or the millivolt signal of thermocouple’s input. It is also linearly related to measuring temperature of thermal resistance or measuring temperature of thermocouple.
